Juan Luis Bosch is recognized as an outstanding businessman; he is currently Chairman of CMI Capital, a business group owned by Corporación Multi Inversiones, (CMI), a multi-Latin family corporation founded in Guatemala in 1920 by Juan Bautista Gutiérrez.
CMI operates in 15 countries and generates more than 40,000 jobs through its two business groups: CMI Alimentos and CMI Capital.
For more than 45 years, he’s directed the strategies for the growth and expansion of the Corporation’s businesses. In addition, he is a director of Banco Industrial and director of PRONACA, a leading Ecuadorian company dedicated to the production and distribution of food products.
He has also been president of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala (CIG) and president of the Coordinating Committee of Agricultural, Commercial, Industrial and Financial Associations (CACIF), the highest coordinating body of the organized productive sector in Guatemala.
