

CMI, Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI) was honored as a Sustainable Company Guatemala 2025 during the forum “Sustainability as a Competitive Advantage,” organized by Vida y Éxito magazine. The recognition highlights the corporation’s commitment to a business model centered on sustainable impact, financial strength, and human development—key pillars of its Purpose-Driven Strategy.
This award positions CMI as a leading example of responsible corporate leadership, placing sustainability at the heart of its decision-making and operations. With a presence in more than 15 countries and a team of over 54,000 employees, the corporation continues to advance its strategic vision under the leadership of Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez, Chairman of the Board of CMI.

During the event, Glenda López, Manager of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at CMI Capital, took part in the panel “Sustainable Management: Culture, Innovation, and Results.” In her remarks, she explained how sustainability has deeply transformed CMI’s organizational culture, becoming fully integrated across key areas such as energy, real estate development, and investment.

- Pradera Shopping Centers operate with 100% renewable energy, backed by the international I-REC certification
- The Todos por mi Comunidad program strengthens the local entrepreneurship ecosystem, promoting inclusion and economic self-sufficiency
- Pradera Chiquimula became the first shopping center in eastern Guatemala to obtain EDGE certification, validating its energy efficiency and responsible design
