In Honduras, specifically in San Pedro Sula, a new distribution center was opened to ensure and facilitate access to quality products like Pollo Rey and Toledo for the entire population.
It’s noteworthy that CMI’s poultry operations, dating back to 1964 with the launch of Avcola Villalobos, are now led by the third generation, with Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez and Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga at the helm. This represents a commitment to strengthening food security in Central America.
CMI’s Presence at Key Industry Events

CMI has also reaffirmed its leadership in the poultry sector by participating in renowned events such as the World Nutrition Forum in Mexico and the Central American and Caribbean Poultry Congress in Costa Rica. Additionally, the corporation was present at the 2023 National Poultry Meetings in Guatemala and Honduras.

Participating in these events has provided CMI with a platform to share knowledge, experiences, and achievements, contributing to an enriching dialogue on best practices in the poultry industry.
