In a world where companies are crucial in the construction of trends and milestones in society, entrepreneurs in the Latin American region also maintain the leading role for their contribution to the development of the continent.
In this sense, both Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez, Chairman of CMI Capital, and Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, Chairman of CMI Foods, have once again ranked at the top of the 500 People List made by the news and financial advisory agency Bloomberg Linea, which recognizes entrepreneurs who generate value in their sectors and contribute to the recovery and growth of the region.
The inclusion of Juan Luis Bosch responds to the role of inspiring his peers and new generations to continue generating wealth and jobs for the communities.
With a track record of more than 45 years leading the expansion strategies of CMI, a multi-Latin family corporation founded in Guatemala in 1920, Bosch’s role has been key to the growth of CMI Capital’s businesses, which include renewable energy generation projects, real estate development projects, and financial services businesses.
Thanks to his vision focused on a future based on renewable energy and sustainable development, Juan Luis Bosch has been recognized in his country on numerous occasions, the last of them in November 2021, when he received the award as Distinguished Industrialist during the XVI Industrial Congress of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala.
In addition, he counts among his achievements having been President of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala (CIG), and President of the Coordinating Committee of Agricultural, Commercial, Industrial and Financial Associations (CACIF), the highest coordinating body of the organized productive sector in Guatemala.
It is for these and other reasons that this Guatemalan businessman is present in the most recent edition of the list of the 500 most influential people in Latin America.
