At the 2024 edition of Pa’ Lante Summit, CMI awarded 13 suppliers in categories ranging from Operational Excellence to Innovation and Sustainable Development.
Among the most notable awardees are Bunge that received the award for Operational Excellence, and Microsoft, recognized in the Technology category for its significant impact on CMI’s operational efficiency. Other awardees included Olmeca for Collaboration, Electron Power and PUMA for Sustainable Development, and DISAGRO as Supplier of the Year, highlighting their exceptional performance and commitment to quality.
A Carbon-Neutral Event with Social Impact
Committed to sustainability, the 2024 Pa’ Lante Summit was marked as a carbon-neutral event. Strategies such as using recycled materials and sustainable energy were implemented to minimize environmental impact.
Furthermore, the occasion was used to donate the funds raised with various companies attending the event, amounting to $221,348.75, to the Ayúdame a Vivir Foundation (AYUVI), which contributes to the fight against childhood cancer in Guatemala. This reaffirms the commitment to social responsibility envisioned by Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez, Chairman of CMI Capital, and Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, Chairman of CMI Foods, both from the third family generation.
